Training Log 8/10-8/16

M 8/1-0 - OFF T 8/11 - 1 WU + 5 x 1 mile hill circuits + 2 CD + Med bal/Core Drills (8.5) Way harder than I thought it would be... Kind of beat up the guys a bit. Good mental toughness workout though. W 8/12 - AM: 5 easy around cook park and back, felt really beat up from yesterday. PM: 4 easy, store run. (9) T 8/13 - AM: 8 on wildwood... PM: 4 around the neighborhood, only gave my self 4 hours between runs but still felt really good on the second. F 8/14 - 8 with Max + 2 x 300m strides... nice and easy. S 8/15 - 12 with Max, Michael and Stefan(part of the way, he ran 8). Lower Macleay to mile post .5 on wildwood and back. Last 3 or so miles were pretty freaking dark so pace was out the door... Overall a good adventure run, next time we'll go to the start of wildood. S 8/16 - 9.5 waterfront loop... ran 8 moderate then ran picked up for a mile, hit 4:58, felt a bit labored, but it's been a long weekend. Just nice to run faster again. Total: right around 58-60 in 6 days.Felt pretty good overall. I might drop it down and race next week depending on how I feel.
